Introduction:

The core responsibility of the role is the efficient and effective operation of Group wide Regulatory reporting using system called Axiom. The role further acts in capacity of a key focal point for liaison with the businesses as well as the key contacts within the group regarding this regulatory reporting tool as well as escalations of key issues and appropriate governance. This involves delivering smooth operations, managing key customers, achieving targeted business metrics and ensuring compliance with the defined SLAs.

What will you be doing?

Operational Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements
  • Acts as the first point of contact for daily production run processes
  • Ensures timely, regular, accurate and complete E2E operation, including managing regular submission of templates and files.
  • Identifies and manages potential issues and risks associated with monthly run
  • Monitors adherence to working day timetable
  • Establish innovative systems and procedures for handling data & reports and continuously improvise on them
  • Analysis of extensive data points/reports that includes exception reporting on regulatory financial numbers from business. Also publish reasons of failure with a remediation plan after detailed investigations

What we're looking for:

  • Technical skills | Competencies
    • Extensive knowledge of Ms-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Proficient in using email.
    • Comprehensive financial domain knowledge, effective presentation skills, managing voluminous financial data, identifying and solving data quality issues
    • Prior knowledge/experience in Regulatory Reporting especially for UK and EU will be preferred
  • Education
    • Essential
      • Strong academic background - Minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution
  • Experience
    • Essential
      • Excellent track record during past work experience; Stability in previous jobs;
      • Preference/aptitude for a career in customer service environment
      • Should be able to handle multiple stakeholders effectively
      • Proven ability to work under pressure and balance priorities to meet tight deadlines.
      • Good Analytical and problem solving skills
      • Able to pay attention to detail and demonstrate awareness of internal controls
      • Should have excellent inter-personal and communication skills: strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to management and other stakeholders.
      • Additional desired skills are:
        • Understanding of Barclays' products and businesses.
        • Understanding of Risk, Finance or Treasury processes
