We are at an exciting juncture to build on the Blueprint, extend the lessons learnt and enhance the new MSD (Microsoft Dynamics) solution to our Utilities contracts across Water & Automation, Telecommunications and Energy.

As we continue our transformation journey, the Business Analyst will be integral to ensuring our business requirements are well defined, are designed to meet our needs and that we have safeguarded sustainability due to having the right documentation in place.

Working with the programme team in an active environment, the Business Analyst will take on the following key responsibilities:

• Capture business goals/needs effectively. Clarify and develop objectives and key issues in a structured manner – Requirements Gathering; Feedback; Gap Analysis; Design; Solution; Stories; Development.
• Collect, document, interpret, analyse, and confirm requirements for current legacy systems as they are transitioned into the new Microsoft Dynamics environments.
• Select the most appropriate means of representing and managing technology level business requirements in the context of Utilities’ Contracts and more broadly across multiple initiatives, remaining aware of other organisational initiatives.
• Drive the requirements elicitation process where necessary, identifying which stakeholders and what inputs are required.

 About You:

The Ideal candidate will have a have a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field, CBAP/Product Owner Certification will be an advantage. You will enjoy looking for opportunities to add value, be a self-directed, and an outcome-focused team player with good attention to detail.

• 4+ years’ experience in a cross functional solution development team in a matrix organisation.
• Proven track record of delivery from conception to go-live including all elements of stakeholder management, technology, and customer outcomes.
• Knowledge and experience in design thinking and co-design methodologies, in agile technology methodology, with excellent working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence and MS Visio.
• Technology nous, quick learner to pick up Microsoft Dynamics and run with it!
