**_The Operations Transformation Center of Excellence_** _is a strategic unit that will focus on introducing processes and technologies for automation and risk reduction across Citi Information Services Group (ISG). This unit will sit within technology but will be partnering with all operation units, technology units within ISG and Citi Innovation Labs, to ensure that prioritization and execution plans are in place for all critical areas, as well as to ensure knowledge and expertise on relevant technologies are in place. Our mission is to be the partner and trusted advisor for all Operations units within ISG, supporting and guiding the Operations, organization through their transformation programs, accelerating and enabling innovation via trainings, methodologies, and special events._

**The Business Analyst Transformation Center of Excellence (CoE) will be gathering and analyzing requirements of business operations and technology organizations within critical applications/systems and will work with Transformation CoE team to provide cutting edge solutions through Artificial Intelligence using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, digitization, and automation.**

The Business Analyst will analyze the business requirement, conceptualize, and help in designing the solution while working in partnership with all operation units, technology units within ISG and Citi Innovation Labs. This requires a highly experienced analyst who has a proven track record of delivering requirements for highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

**Responsibilities:**

**** **Understanding and translating requirement from multiple parties: Regulators, Business Stakeholders, Compliance and more**

**** **Work in collaboration with other tech groups to provide world class solutions**

**** **Defining user stories, personas, user scenarios, product requirements & specifications**

**** **Serving as liaison between R&D and the business units - involves interaction with variety of roles: R&D, research, QA, and designers.**

**** **Planning product roadmap, delivery phases, tracking project schedule and milestones**

**** **Providing efficient inputs into the technical analysis of features**

+ Empower automation efforts across Operations organizations ensuring scale and efficiencies are achieved

+ Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects

+ Own and manage Transformation CoE product backlog and Innovation Tool box - setting priorities and product maturity standards

+ Liaise with Operations and Technology teams supporting a fast-paced Agile development environment.

+ Work with a geographically distributed technology team to ensure that the requirements / business needs are well understood, and the solution developed are in line with the requirements.

+ Meet customer requirements with least amount of rework and high amount of test coverage in the least amount of time

+ Identify existing system bottlenecks and deficiencies, devise and assist in implementing robust solutions to address these shortcomings.

+ Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment

+ Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives

+ Evaluate new technological developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems, and industry standards

+ Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic decisions

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

+ Act as a Transformation CoE expert and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

+ Plan the approach, tools, and templates to be used, timelines and monitor performance for analysis work

+ Track project deliverables and report to stakeholders

**Mandatory Skills**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math or equivalent, with 7 years Business Analysis and/or Product Management experience in Software Development organizations

+ 7 years of experience of requirements elicitation, requirements management, requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation

+ Able to analyze data, write user stories, understand business processes to model the current state

+ Leadership skills: enthusiastic with a go-getter mindset, innovative and proactive

+ Excellent communication skills oral, written, interpersonal / time management, presentation skills. Ability to explain complex requirements in simple words.

+ Experience in working on Agile projects and acting as a product owner

+ Quick learner - Ability to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry

+ Great analytical skills

+ Experience in using JIRA to track requirements / stories

+ Experience of working in a globally distributed team, working in different time zones

+ Good team player and works collaboratively

**Nice to have Skills**

+ Background of software development

+ Master of Business Administration

+ Business Analysis certification like CBAP from IIBA or BA certification from PMI

+ Agile Certification - Scrum Master / Product Owner is a plus

+ Lean Six Sigma

+ Technical background in Machine Learning, Interaction Systems, Data Analytics, NLP based system

+ Experience in working in a multicultural organization

+ Experience of relevant financial background of capital markets or regulatory background
