Job Description
The professional service team is seeking for someone with a strong interest for IT, great listening skills and a will to think ‘’outside the box’’ to support various customers in the digital transformation.
As a business analyst, you will act as a key player in the execution of strategic projects related to different technological solution. You will leverage on your knowledge and expertise to guide customers from multiple industries in the greater Quebec City.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business processes and needs along with the technological tools available to follow strategic orientations
- Negociate and validate business requirements
- Bridge the gap between IT and business
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the projects elaboration
- Understand and document differences between the actual and desired solution
- Be accountable of delivrables compliance in relation with identified requirements
- Evaluate and recommend scalable solutions to insure long term results
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elicitate functional and non functional requirements
- Lead development workshops to effectively gather customer’s feedbacks
- Log and document improvement opportunities in processes and work flow
- Manage customer expectations throughout the project
- Contribute to the quality assurance process redaction and participate in the test plan
- Insure training documentation is available for the customer to facilitate change management
Competencies
- University degree in IT, business administration, organizational information system or any equivalent
- Three year or more as a business analyst or project manager in IT
- Work experience in support to key project milestones (requirements elicitation, conception, delivery, launch, monitoring, etc)
- Strong aptitudes for data collection, analysis and problem solving
- Thoroughness and attention to details
- Capacity to question status quo, to try new methods and stimulate innovation
