Job Description

Purpose of the Role

Primarily office based and working over the phone you will be delivering New Ireland's growth ambitions in the life and pensions market, working to pre-defined targets through a Broker panel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure pre-set targets are achieved for the brokers on your panel
  • Mmanage and develop the business relationship between independent brokers and New Ireland
  • Continually ensure that brokers are educated to understand the NIA range of products and operating practices
  • Ensure a high quality of service is delivered to brokers
  • Assist brokers in the development and growth of their business
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal working relations with NIA staff, to ensure the effective resolution of broker queries in a timely fashion
  • Commitment to self-develop on a continuous basis in line with the evolving demands of the market

Pre-set targetsare achieved for your brokers and relationships are maintained and managed

Brokers are educated to understand NIA range of products, services and practices and deliver mechanisms for enhancing Broker relationships in the segment

Deliver a high quality of service to Brokers directly and through our internal suppot functions

Assist Brokers in the development of their business

Establish and maintain effective internal relationships in NIA to ensure effective resolution of Broker queries

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should be qualifies to a QFA minimum and ideally have a degree in Finance or a related discipline

Demonstrate a willingness to achive further qualifications such as CFP

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • in-depth knowledge of the product suite offered by New Ireland
  • Atarget driven individualwith acomprehensive understanding of financial markets
  • Minimum of two years experience in the financial sector
  • Highly organised and strong business acumen
  • Excellent relationship management/problem solving skills
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Flexible approach and adaptabe to change
  • Self starter

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Successful candidate will be required to develop excellent realtionship and interpersonal skills in addition to an in-depth product knowledge of the product suite offered by New Ireland
  • Knowledge of competitors products
  • Familiar with digital sales techniques and strong overall IT skills
