Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily coolant blend operations, whilst optimizing the use of available
- resources and equipment to meet targets for quality, delivery and production of for filling blends. Provide direction to all blending employees on the accurate and timely completion of production needs and related reports
- Responsible to ensure that Plant staff is informed, trained and motivated and that employees on the accurate and timely completion of production related reports
- Responsible to ensure Environmental, Health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines are implemented and adhered to.
- Assist in the supervision of daily coolant blend operations, whilst optimizing the use of available resources and equipment to meet targets for quality, delivery and production of for filling blends. Provide direction to blending employees on the accurate and timely completion of production needs and related reports.
- Schedule / planning of coolant blends as per production/ customer requirements.
- Oversee the safe and efficient blending, storage and distribution of chemicals,maintaining QS 9000 quality standards and environment compliances for the facility.
- Participate in process improvement projects as requested by Blending Supervisor.
- Other duties as requested and assigned by Blending Supervisor or Plant
Qualifications:
- A Technical Certificate or Degree in Chemical Engineering and / or equivalent training and blending experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
- Possess ability to communicate and interact effectively with subordinates,
- peers, and management of the company to provide and receive information
- Ability to assign workforce to meet daily production requirements
