About the role

• To ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining the high-quality customer service established at the Chateau Tongariro
• Ability to be flexible and on call a key criteria for this role 
• To analyze and treat clients' skin, hair and nails
• To advise on face and body care
• To apply and sell makeup and skincare products
• Provide face and body treatments such as facials, scrubs, peels and massages
• Removing unwanted hair by waxing, electrolysis, and laser treatment
• Applying artificial tan (optional)
• Shaping, tinting and applying eyebrows and eyelashes
• Manicures and pedicures (treating and decorating fingernails or toenails)
• Body Massage and reflexology
• Threading for eyebrows and upper lip

 Skills and experience 

• Minimum one years experience in the industry.
• Well communicator and love interacting and building great relationships with guests.
• Having a certificate or diploma in beauty therapy
• Knowledge of the human body, and conditions that can affect skin, nails and hair
• Basic English language skills 
• Understanding of how beauty therapies and nutrition can affect the body
• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and beauty treatment methods
• An understanding of hygiene, and health and safety regulations
• Sales skills.
• Must legally be entitled to work in New Zealand
