The succesful applicant will have the opportunity to work on high end residential projects, with a variety of materials such as Timber, Glass, Steel, Brass and Aluminium. We focus on high standards of Design, safety, quality and adhering to NCC and Australian Standards.

The successful applicant must be able to communicate with builders and other workers in a team environment, working thoroughly yet efficiently to achieve positive outcomes for the client and business.

He or she will work alongside current apprentices and Tradesmen using detail drawings to fabricate and install handrails, balustrades and steel stair cases.

The successful applicant will have access to a company car and all necessary tools and equipment, as well as being paid above average hourly wages and penalty rates with remuneration based on experience and skill .

We are looking for an experienced tradesman with the following skills:

• Hardworking and organised.
• Works well unsupervised.
• Has problem solving and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Can present and communicate professionally with clients, trades and management.
• Have a high standard of finish and pride in their work.

 Tasks & responsibilities

• Detailed measuring and set out of new jobs.
• Reading and interpreting detailed Shop drawings and 3D CAD models
• Install Glass, Aluminium, stainless steel and steel balustrading, fencing and handrails.

 Qualifications & experience

• Manual Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Forklift Licence (Preferred - not essential)
• Qualification or equivelant experience in either light metal fabrication glazing or Carpentry
