About the role
Ownr continues to scale and is hiring a B2B Partner Specialist to join its growing Sales team. In this role, you’ll lead engagements with Accounting and Law firms to provide insights on how they can use the legal tools, company formation and valuable resources provided by Ownr for their business and clients.
B2B Partner Specialists are responsible for ensuring that interested firms understand the value and flexibility that Ownr offers professionals and entrepreneurs looking to incorporate. You will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of Ownr’s B2B strategy, including initial outreach, leading demos and conversations, onboarding firms, and enabling the relationship once the firms have onboarded. You’ll be in charge of ensuring that partners are getting world class support on how to use Ownr to achieve their business goals. Of utmost importance is the need to quickly create meaningful relationships and deliver impactful engagements.
We are looking for a creative, organized, and driven individual who is motivated by a passion to help entrepreneurs succeed in their business. You approach problem solving in a thoughtful and analytical manner to identify needs and find solutions. You are also highly collaborative andare passionate about entrepreneurship, technology and business strategy.
What will you do?
Conduct daily outreaches to accounting, bookkeeping, and law firms across Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia
Strategize on ways that the we can engage and attract more partner opportunities, as well as attract more qualified firms as requirements change
Coordinate the development, approval, evaluation and monitoring of our B2B partners
Think strategically about new product opportunities and business models and play an integral role in driving strategic partnerships strategy across Ownr product lines
Conduct frequent analysis on partner performance and present optimization recommendations and partner feedback to internal teams
Work with stakeholders on strategies to strengthen partnership engagement
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Design, Content, Product, and Partnerships

What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Experience in developing partnerships in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
Capable of developing a system of record to qualify, and disqualify opportunities quickly and effectively
Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements and iterating on the metrics that matter most
Willing to learn about legal concepts and other issues affecting business owners in Canada
Work in a self-directed manner and have strong time management skills
Eagerness to speak with Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Law Firms to uncover ways to help their business
Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate complexities in a simple and effective manner
Interest in technology and innovative online solutions
Nice-to-have:
Outbound/inbound engagement experience in a startup environment and/or fast-paced growing organization
Background in working with professional firms in a partnerships and/or community building role
Experience using Intercom, Hubspot or similar customer-engagement software
Background as a business operator and/or firsthand exposure to entrepreneurship
Experience with SaaS and subscription based business models
Familiarity with selling through LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator tool
