We are looking for AWS Build Engineer for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Primary Skill (Must Have)

• Strong experience in AWS infrastructure design, solution, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge on AWS Services: Compute, Storage, Databases, AWS Organizations, Service Catalog, AWS Config, AWS SSM, AWS Native devops tools - Code commit, build, deploy, AWS WAF, CloudFront, AWS SSO
• The ability to draft, deploy and troubleshoot secure AWS services using CloudFormation to include:
  • IAM
  • RDS
  • WAF
  • ECS or EKS
  • Auto-scaling
  • EC2/ALB/ELB
  • S3
  • KMS
• Utilizing AWS documentation to support your CloudFormation efforts (new services previously unused)
• Proficient in CloudFormation and basic knowledge on Terraform (in pipelines).
• Proficient in Python and Lambda automations.
• Must be able to troubleshoot complex issues including networking, security configurations, firewalls, proxy services, operating systems, etc.
• Experience using DevOps stacks like GitLab or GitHub. 

 Secondary Skill (good to have)

• Other packages such as Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus, Chef or AWS Code Pipeline would be a plus.
• Should have a working knowledge of OS, account and service hardening standards
• Must have knowledge of Infrastructure, Operating system, Middleware, and standard tools used in an enterprise.
• Basic understanding of Packer.
• Basic understanding of Puppet modules.
• Basic understanding of monitoring the AWS Infrastructure and preparing HA and DR solutions.
• Should possess strong collaboration/communication/team-building skills.
• Should be driven to find new and/or creative solutions without guidance.
• Willing to learn new services and implement.
