An American Company is seeking a Remote AWS Cloud Architect

Role Description

• Cloud Engineer with specific experience in AWS

• Project Management and Projects – roll out changes, modifications, built and stuck with a project

• Very senior cloud engineer to work with their current mid-level Cloud Engineer to assess, validate, suggest, implement their current AWS cloud environment, for tools, monitoring and security.

• Stellaworx is in Cloud, but they’ve moved their non production environment to AWS, however not in a best-practice state/standards standpoint. Are adjustments needed based on those recommendations. They’ll also driving the implementation.

Skills & Requirements

Top 3-5 Required Skills

• AWS Cloud Engineering – resources and products in AWS (S3, Datalake, EKS, formation, API Gateway, Access Management, AWS SSL)

• Security – understand IIAM, Centryio – for alert and monitoring AWS Security module, Snyk or similar static analysis tool, Firewalls inside of AWS, application security, static code analysis, alerting and monitoring

• Project Management and Projects – roll out changes, modifications, built and stuck with a project

• Experience in Automation, Terraforms, Python, Helm for orchestration, Bit Bucket pipelines

• 60% architecture and 40% hands-on writing code

• AWS Certification
