The Network Service Platform (NSP) portfolio provides a comprehensive management solution that allows our customers to monitor, provision and troubleshoot IP, Wireless and Optical networks. Our solution is deployed in more than 800 customer deployments worldwide and is proven to set the standard for service-aware management. NSP unifies service automation with network optimization and extends carrier SDN concepts to multi-vendor IP/Optical networks allowing network operators to deliver on-demand network services faster, profitably and with high scalability.

In this team you will have exposure to optical and IP network integration, network virtualization, optimization and cutting-edge industry innovation. We are constantly evolving our platform to support customers in their transition to 5G and IoT. This involves everything from micro-services and containerization and clustering to model-driven management interface mediation to new network assurance and automation use cases.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

Work with customers (internal/remotely/onsite) for requirement gathering and project deployments

Develop scripts and write code to customize NSP solutions, supporting product demonstrations, lab trials, and early deployments

As part of R&D, it will be required to work with design, test, and PLM to understand how the applications interact and create setups that support customer use cases

Provide internal and/or customer technical training covering the portfolio of NSP applications

Could 20 PERCENT travel

Your skills and experience

You have:

Degree in Software, Computer or Electrical Engineering, in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Experience with software design and object-oriented programming concepts in Java, Python, or Javascript

Knowledge in Software Defined Networking (SDN-WAN) and SDN Automation

Knowledge in NMS concepts and networking protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, IP VPN, VLL/VPLS, BGP-LS, Segment Routing, PCEP, OpenFlow, SNMP, HTTP SOAP, JMS, REST

Can do attitude, innovative, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced, challenging and ever-changing environment

Experience with databases technologies (Oracle, Neo4J, MySQL, PostGRE etc)

Strong knowledge of Linux and system monitoring tools

It would be nice if you also have experience in:

Network management concepts and management protocols (e.g. SNMP, NETCONF, gNMI)

Virtualization, Openstack, NVF and related technologies, or containers

Prior and demonstrated experience in a Product Verification, Software Development, or IP/LTE/Optical Networking roles;

Familiarity/proficiency with RHEL
