Audit Senior Manager with German

As part of our EY-Assurance Team, you would be the main point of contact from GDS for the tasks assigned by the global client serving assurance team sand be responsible for the timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing day today operations of those engagements.

The opportunity

We're looking for an individual having assurance-related experience in Property and Casualty Insurance (P&C)and Life or Health Insurance sectors. In addition to assisting the service delivery for several key clients, the candidate should have the potential to coach managers in the Insurance segment, provide technical assistance, deliver industry training and assist in the growth of the Insurance practice.

Your key responsibilities

Manage and develop people

• Beaneffectivemanagerbyempowering,monitoring,coachingandmotivatingtheteam members.
• Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing managers.
• Identify technical and non-technical training needs with respect to client servicing, decision making, people issues, etc.
• Conduct Assurance team's performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and play a significant role in the team's performance.

Manage business and clients

• Develop and maintain strong relationship network with key contacts in the engagement teams.
• Actively assist the Sector agenda both in terms of growth and quality initiatives(e.g. improvement of service delivery, standardization of projects, new solutions, etc.).
• EnhanceconnectivitybetweenGDSteamandengagementteamsandleveragegoodconnections to identify more opportunities for work.
• Actively assist the communication agenda for the Insurance sector.
• Assist the engagement Leader in developing annual growth, resource and activity plans.
• Monitor KPIs (growth, quality feedback, utilization, risk management compliance, attrition, etc.) for the team sunder supervision and take appropriate action wherever required.

Manage quality of service delivery

• Identify sector-specific training needs and review and update current curriculum.
• Assist in organizing and providing technical training (both Sector and assurance-related methodology).
• Assist in addressing service delivery quality issues if and when they occur.
• Assist exceptional service delivery action programs.
• Establish a practice of' Best Practice' sharing within the Insurance Segment teams.

Skills and attributes for success

• Exposure to assurance in the Insurance domain with specific focuson Property and Casualty and Life and Health Insurance.
• Excellent project and people management skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) /ACCA / CPA.
• Approximately over10 years of Assurance experience at well-known CA Firms.
• International experience of over 2 years will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to assurance in the Insurance domain with specific focus on Property and Casualty and Life and Health Insurance.
• Fluent knowledge of both English and German language.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Proficiency in MS- Excel, MS -Office.
• Interest in business and commerciality.
