Audit Senior Manager with German

As par to four EY-Assurance Team, you would be the main point of contact from GDS for the tasks assigned by the global client serving assurance team sand be responsible for the time lines sand quality of deliverables along with managing day today operations of those engagements.

The opportunity

We're looking for an individual having assurance-related experience in Property and Casualty Insurance (P&C)and Life or Health Insurance sectors .In addition to assisting the service delivery for several key clients, the candidates hould have the potential to coach manager sin the Insurance segment ,provide technical assistance ,deliver industry training and assist in the growth of the Insurance practice.

Your key responsibilities

Manage and develop people

• Beaneffectivemanagerbyempowering,monitoring,coachingandmotivatingtheteam members.
• Identifydevelopmentopportunities andtraining needs for highperformingmanagers.
• Identify technical and non-technical training needs with respect to client servicing, decision making,people issues, etc.
• ConductAssurance team'sperformance reviews, serveas a positiveleaderand mentor, and play a significant role in theteam's performance.

Manage business and clients

• Developandmaintainstrongrelationshipnetworkwithkeycontactsintheengagement teams.
• ActivelyassisttheSectoragendabothintermsofgrowthandqualityinitiatives(e.g. improvementofservicedelivery,standardization ofprojects, new solutions,etc.).
• EnhanceconnectivitybetweenGDSteamandengagementteamsandleveragegoodconnections to identifymore opportunities forwork.
• Actively assist the communication agenda forthe Insurance sector.
• Assist theSegment Leaderindeveloping annual growth, resourceand activityplans.
• Monitor KPIs (growth, quality feedback, utilization, risk management compliance, attrition,etc.) for the teamsunder supervision andtake appropriateactionwherever required.

Manage quality of service delivery

• Identifysector-specifictraining needs and reviewandupdate current curriculum.
• Assistinorganizingandprovidingtechnicaltraining(bothSectorandassurance-related methodology).
• Assist in addressingservicedeliveryqualityissues if andwhenthey occur.
• Assist exceptional service delivery action programs.
• Establisha practice of'BestPractice'sharing within the Insurance Segmentteams.

Skills andattributes for success

• Exposuretoassuranceinthe InsurancedomainwithspecificfocusonProperty andCasualtyand Lifeand Health Insurance.
• Excellentprojectandpeople managementskills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Qualified CharteredAccountant (ICAI) /ACCA / CPA.
• Approximately over10 years ofAssurance experience atwell-known CA Firms.
• International experience of over 2 yearswill beanaddedadvantage.
• Exposuretoassuranceinthe InsurancedomainwithspecificfocusonProperty and Casualtyand Lifeand Health Insurance.
• Fluent knowledge of both English and German language.

Ideally, you'llalsohave

• Proficiency in MS- Excel, MS -Office.
• Interest in businessand commerciality.
