You will join our development teams who on a daily basis, deliver applications that make the Bank a partner of choice for its clients.

Your role

• Work closely with the project team (squad) to understand the requirements and translate them into test scenarios/cases
• Set up the base for automated testing according to corporate standards
• Develop automated functional and integration testing according to industry best practices (DevOps)
• Ensure adequate test coverage and conduct manual and automated quality tests
• Document anomalies and contribute to managing them
• Communicate the level of quality and related risks
• Take part in producing application changes based on quality standards to ensure systems run smoothly
• Take part in continuously improving the quality assurance methodology and best practices.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or other degree in Software Engineering or IT and several years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of automated testing development (Selenium Webdriver, Appium, or other testing frameworks)
• Good knowledge of writing test cases and test sets (e.g., Cucumber, Xray)
• Proven experience in development tools (IDEs: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.; SCMs: Git, Bitbucket, etc.; CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST) or microservices, as well as formats including XML, JSON, an asset
• Curiosity, a team player and ability to step outside your comfort zone
• French (spoken and written); knowledge of English, an asset.
