Snapshot of the Role:

• Serve as a dedicated representative of Financial Control on projects governing the implementation of major automation initiatives.
• Ensure key Financial Control requirements, including access to financial information and strong internal financial controls, are met prior to go-live.
• Collaborate with regional Financial Controllers to define and document business and testing requirements.
• Drive the controls and governance framework for projects.
• Support the development of a center of excellence for IT project implementation across Capital Markets.

 Your Key Qualifications:

·        CPA or equivalent designation.

·        University Degree in finance, economics, math, or other quantitative discipline.

·        Experience working in/with a Financial Control environment and familiarity with internal controls over financial reporting.

·        Experience with large IT implementation projects, either from the IT or Financial Control perspective.

·        Exposure to Capital Markets businesses including some understanding of complex financial instruments and transactions relating to securities, derivatives, and debt/equity issuances, together with a willingness and interest in deepening that knowledge. 

·        Minimum 5 years of high-level involvement in financial control and/or IT.
