Job Description
What is the opportunity?
As the business is travelling along the journey of digital transformation, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take ownership of key project delivery. In this position, you will play a critical role overseeing the delivery of major initiatives that involve Data Management Office (DMO) and Digital Delivery. You will provide the vision, understand connective points, encourage collaboration and have a keen focus on ROI/Business benefit.
What will you do?
Presenting design plans to product development to determine technical feasibility. Monitoring revisions for compliance with technical standards.
Using data on marketplace trends to guide the product design function. Soliciting design suggestions from customers, prospective customers, and internal staff, and ensuring that designs support the goals and objectives of the organization.
Monitoring progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Gathering financial data measuring the potential profitability of new designs.
Overseeing staff responsible for designing new products or improvements to existing products.
Engage the various stakeholders from product, client experience, data, technology and other teams to design and deliver solutions, to resolve problems and evaluate impact of completed initiatives
Understand the nuances of platforms and processes; design workflows and projects with these nuances in mind.
Work with sponsors during the ideation stage to understand fit and compatibility in getting problem solved through Digital channel
Increase dialog, and manage communication with stakeholders on requirements and design, where necessary
Be able to explain project workflow, prioritization and be involved hands-on with the execution stage on key/critical endeavours
Responsible for building a pipeline of problem statements & initiatives, running effective communication plans to enable prioritization forums
Utilize sound commercial judgement - be aware of delivery costs vs value and highlight where the range of possible solutions would not make commercial sense
Partner effectively with Digital Lab and technical teams to ensure they are supported and have clear guidance on MVPs; and track and report progress on initiatives on a weekly/periodic basis
Provide highly transparent reporting on pipeline, delivery staging, delivery into production, abandoned solutions, team capacity and impact to stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Minimum Experience - 5-7 years of Design, UI/UX or Digital Product execution roles with team building and management experience
