This position reports to the Customer Service Manager, Private Banking 1859.

Your main challenges:

  • Support the Private Banker and/or Senior Private Banker in delivering the PB 1859 service offering, in particular as concerns processing simple credit and account opening files and all transaction services linked to the Banker's portfolio
  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by developing personalized relationships that meet the needs of each client
  • Optimize interactions with clients and identify sales opportunities
  • Open business and personal files and perform various transactions on behalf of clients
  • Boost the efficiency of administrative and financial activities by diligently monitoring client files
  • The incumbent must be able to identify the risks inherent to Wealth Management sector activities

More specifically, you’ll be required to:

  • Respond to clients within the timeframes prescribed by the sector
  • Answer their questions and act as a resource person with regard to the firm's complex products, policies and procedures
  • Perform administrative tasks such as personal and commercial account openings, credit disbursements, simple credit renewals, bank deposits, fund transfers, RSP and RIF contributions and withdrawals and following up on incoming and outgoing transfers
  • Provide advanced technical support with transactions in files
  • Be the administrative link between the different operational departments
  • Act as a resource person and help resolve issues (1st level, with support from CSM)
  • Analyze client accounts, make follow-up calls, identify operational issues and propose solutions (e.g., IBS-B, simple PIBS)
  • Act as a mentor in guiding and training new or less experienced employees
