As a senior leader, you should possess a good blend of theoretical and practical data and analytics expertise, and be very well-versed in its application within high-impact transformational business and technology consulting engagements.  You will play a key role in further shaping and contextualizing Cognizant’s data and analytics value proposition for the Canadian market.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with Canadian and global practice leadership, recommend overarching strategies, formulate and action individualized go-to-market plans and (pre-) sales activities for Canada-based Global 2000 clients, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts, with the goal of growing the data and analytics market footprint  
• Formulate data and analytics (pre-)sales activities to bring in new clients/engagements, and manage existing client relationships to cross-/up- sell additional projects
• Engage and build trust with C-suite and other client-side stakeholders for the purpose of identifying, nurturing and converting data and analytics opportunities into active engagements, covering the full spectrum from strategy through to implementation to advance clients’ data transformation journeys
• Embed within broader management consulting teams to ensure an integration of data and analytical considerations within our broader solution recommendations and value-add provided to clients
• Interface with and work in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams (strategy consultants, data/enterprise architects, data scientists, software engineers, Cloud engineers) to drive cohesive solutions
• Manage and directly participate in data and analytics –focused advisory consulting engagements - including deliverables production - ensuring on-time, on-budget, high quality deliverables
• Oversee, plan and manage client-facing interactions (e.g. ideation, presentations, workshops, training, coaching) dependent on project needs
• Develop and offer thought leadership
• Create platforms for strengthening our Canadian partnerships with the hyperscalers
• Grow and nurture talent development in the country
