Job Description

Purpose Of Role:

TheARF Administratorwill support the team leader and team in looking after our customers as they journey into a new life stage of Retirement. This may include vetting documentation, new business processing and day-to-day ongoing servicing of the ARF policies. Also, they may engage directly with financial advisors/customers via phone/email as we process their work requests.

Key Accountabilities:

All responsibilities of an ARF Administrator:

  • New Business onboarding of ARF policies that comes internally from Retirement Claims and externally from other Life Offices
  • Servicing ARF policies on our systems - top-ups, switches, creating incomes, processing surrenders
  • Delivering excellent service to distribution channels
  • Develop/maintain strong relationships with financial advisors
  • Ensuring tasks are completed within time scales that meet our customers' expectations
  • Ability to work under pressure especially coming up to year end
  • Dealing with customer queries effectively both over the phone and in writing

Essential Qualificatons:

  • Third Level Honours Degree, full QFA or working towards a QFA

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Team player with the ability to take full ownership of work and responsibility for performance
  • Excellent customer focus with an understanding of customer needs
  • Highly organised with the ability to resolve queries and make decisions
  • Pensions Experience across some products

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with Retirement Claims and/or Post Retirement Products
  • QFA or RPA qualified
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • L400 experience
