We have a casual Appointment Coordinator role available within our busy multi-disciplinary Gastroenterology department in Middlemore Hospital. This is casual positon which you will need to be available Monday to Friday to cover at short notice. The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for working with patients and their families.

In this role you will be responsible for logging and loading referrals, procedure waitlist management and negotiating appointments with patients directly. Meeting and greeting patients as they arrive in the department and you will have the opportunity to be part of each step of our patient’s journey.

For this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for working with patients
  • A strong customer focus
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Be team minded

IPM and Concerto experience is a distinct advantage for this role, although training will be provided

The salary band for this role is between $47,208 - $57,661 pro-rata, dependent on skills and experience.
