As the Area Account Activation Strategist you will utilize your proven business development experience to play a central role in the execution of the Account Activation strategy, methodology, design content, work products and deployment to build account excellence across Asia-Pacific. This role will cascade global best practice, process consistency and account management synergies to be driven at the Area level and implemented at the Region level.
Your key responsibilities
The Asia-Pacific Account Activation Strategist works closely with the Asia-Pacific Account Activation Leader and onshore/offshore teams to deliver results across key areas of focus:
Drive performance outcomes for accounts and regions through consistent deployment of Account Management Framework (AMF) and leading Account Acceleration sessions
Build relationships with Area and Regional leadership and teams to provide direction and guidance for implementation of Account Activation strategy and plans
Embed Exceptional Client Service (ECS) Principles into Account Activation processes
Execute end-to-end account activation roadmap, leveraging EY’s technology platforms such as Account LENS and global methods and templates
Enable key BD account roles through the development of communities of practice, skills building and best practice sharing
Lead account management communities i.e., Account Managers, Market Segment Managers and others through the sharing of best practices, deployment of tech tools and resources and other
Coach broader BD teams and regions around key account processes including strategic planning, account management, Client Experience (CX)
Depending on regional geography, some travel is required as well as attending Area leadership meetings/training. From time to time, internal and external obligations may require working after normal business hours.

The Account Activation Strategist will need to be a successful self-starter with the ability to work across a complex matrixed environment. The ability to build trusted relationships across cultures and time-zones will be critical within varied hybrid working arrangements at EY.

10 years plus of previous sales or business development experience
Excellent facilitation and coaching experience
Experience managing teams
Excellent project management skills
Highly proficient in Account Management and Client delivery principles
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working across Asia
