Job Description

As the Area Account Activation Leader you will play a pivotal role in co-developing and driving an integrated Area strategy across the accounts landscape in Asia-Pacific. Collaborating with peers across the global firm, you’ll be responsible for facilitating account interventions to accelerate growth and executing a digitally enabled end-to-end Area account activation roadmap, leveraging consistent global methodologies, templates and work products to enhance account excellence and client outcomes.
 Your key responsibilities 

The Account Activation Leader will lead and manage the Area Account Activation team, along with the offshore support team to deliver results across key areas of focus:

  • development and execution of an Area Account Activation strategy
  • facilitate account acceleration sessions for nominated priority Asia-Pacific accounts to embed Fields of Play and accelerate solutions, managed services and alliance & ecosystem activation to achieve high growth 
  • coach regional teams to facilitate account sessions and cascade global best practice, process consistency and synergies
  • drive strategic and tactical outcomes for Account Activation with particular focus on enhancing account discipline underpinned by the Account Management Framework (AMF)
  • deploy an end-to-end account activation roadmap, leveraging EY’s technology platforms such as Account LENS and global methods and templates 
  • translate EY firm-wide (i.e., NextWave) and business development strategic priorities within Account Activation function
  • provide support to Area Markets Action Team (MAT) Leader to drive successful activation and implementation at Area and Region levels 
  • selection and management of Account Activation resources at Area level (including hiring, development and deployment etc.)
  • Depending on regional geography, some travel is required as well as attending Area leadership meetings/training. From time to time, internal and external obligations may require working after normal business hours.
     Skills and attributes for success

The Account Activation leader will need to be a successful self-starter with the ability to work across a complex matrixed environment. The ability to build trust and relationships across cultures and time-zones will be critical within varied hybrid working arrangements at EY.

 To qualify for the role you must have.

  • 12 years plus of previous sales and business development experience 
  • Black belt facilitation and coaching experience with senior leaders
  • Experience leading and managing teams in a large Global organization
     

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working across Asia
  • Understanding of partnerships and professional services or experience working in the sector
  • Digital and technology sales experience
