What is the opportunity?

• Collaborate with Ventures and/or RBC’s external partners to understand core business goals and help achieve results through a data driven approach.
• Design and conduct analyses using various techniques (developing frameworks, building dashboards, segmentation, modelling) to provide value for the stakeholders you support.
• Develop strong relationships with your stakeholders to achieve superior business results and long lasting impact.
• Communicate approaches & insights effectively to influence decision making at senior leadership levels.

What do you need to succeed?

Business acumen, curiosity, good communication, and strong technical skills.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an analytical function (e.g. Business Analytics, Consulting).
• Experience in SQL (for analyses & creating reports) and predictive analytics in R or python. 
• Experience communicating analytics and Machine Learning results back to business partners and/or C-level.
• An eager listener and a team player who is comfortable forming cross functional relationships with our partners.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience publishing reports/dashboards, and visualizations with Tableau is a big plus.
• Leadership experience (in direct and/or indirect reporting capacity).
• University degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g., statistics, economics, analytics)
