The Blue Planet software division is seeking a software engineering module lead to build and support software products in the area of Telecom Service Assurance domain. The Candidate will join the Analytics team based in Ottawa (Canada) and be responsible for developing and supporting high quality AI-based products.

Responsibilities include:

Participating in software design process

Developing new and maintaining existing software modules

Working on strategic development initiatives on occasion

Helping bridge between onshore and offshore development teams

Providing L3 support to customers

Required Skills:

Analytics/ML/Backend Developer

3-5 years experience developing large-scale enterprise platforms

3 years experience with Scala, Java or Python

2 years experience with Apache Spark and Apache NiFi

2 years experience developing machine learning applications

1 years experience with Kafka or similar

Knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, MXNet or others is preferred

Knowledge of java frameworks such as Play!, Slick, Hibernate, EJB is preferred

Experience working with RDBMS and Neo4J is a plus

Experience working with AGILE/SCRUM

Good communication skills

Required Experience:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

years of progressive experience in Software Product Development and Support preferably in the networking domain
