 As the Analytics engineer at Bell Media, you have in depth experience and a passion for working with data at scale at a large company.   You will get to use the latest cutting-edge technology offered by our Cloud partner to build a powerful analytical platform.

You will design and build intuitive dashboards that will drive strategic decisions by our partnering product teams. In addition, you will use your expertise in SQL and Python to help develop and enrich the data lake driving analytics.

 Key responsibilities

• High-energy self-starter with experience and passion for data and big data scale processing. You enjoy working in fast-paced environments and love making an impact. 
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for our stakeholders
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) + BigQuery to build a strong analytical platform
• Design and develop series of dashboards for strategic insights
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Work with business partners, other product managers, developers and engineering to gather functional and technical requirements around dashboards and analytics
• Build, maintain and evolve the data analytics stack
• Own all BI and product tool integrations e.g. Looker, Google Analytics, Braze, etc

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on years as an Analytics Engineer or Data Analyst with cloud-based applications
• Extensive knowledge of Looker BI tool
• Strong foundation programming in Python
• Knowledge in AWS or GCP (preferred), Azure
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with data warehouses
• Experience in dbt (preferred) and data modeling in general
