Reporting to the Principal Director Financial Markets Payments, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of operations related to payment activities for the loan and borrow money market product. You will need to identify opportunities for standardization and improvement of existing processes and implement them. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a team that values customer satisfaction, performance, collaboration and innovation.

More specifically, you’ll be required to:

• Analyze and process complex payment files, execute transactions, deal regularly/daily with our partners
• Using the tools / systems in place, carry out the required transactions, while ensuring to respect the deadlines related to the different types of payments and currencies.
• Carry out control activities on the integrity of the information processed according to the standards and procedures in place and thus ensure the accuracy of the payments processed
• Act as a resource person in connection with various types of requests from stakeholders internal and/or external to the organization
• Identify opportunities for standardization and improvement of existing processes

Competencies required:

• Three-year college diploma or the academic equivalent, related to the sector of activity and three years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity
• Analytical capacity, sense of initiative, rapid response, and autonomy of execution
• Good management of stress and priorities. Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong relationship and communication skills
• Good understanding and experience in payment and treasury activities, desired
• Knowledge of systems used in the financial market operations sector including Swift, Murex, Side, as well as Accurate and the Office Suit, desired
• Focused on process improvement, standardization and optimization, desired
• Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English, essential
