What is the opportunity?

In this role, you provide peace of mind to clients by providing customized mortgage solutions and advice. Your ability to develop relationships with both internal and external partners is crucial to your success. Further, you build client loyalty through your keen desire to provide exceptional and personalized service, while your proven motivation and relationship focused sales style allows you to drive solid business results.

 

What will you do?

  • Develop loyal client relaitonships by providing exceptional mortgage advice
  • Successfully collaborate with RBC partners particularly the Mortgage Specialist teams to provide support and anchor  business
  • Take the initiative to provide advice and solutions to clients, meeting their individual needs
  • Remain mobile to be accessible and accommodate clients’ preferences and partner needs 

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Previous experience as a mortgage lender
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination business and home financing products
  • Minimum 3 years of client service and advice, ideally in Mortgage broker services or real estate
  • Proven ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships & cultivate strong internal partners
  • Proactively promote, sell & deliver mortgage financing for clients through 3rd Party lenders for clients that do not qualify through RBC
  • Self-starter who works independently and seeks out answers

 

Nice-to-have

  • A solid network in your community, resulting in referrals, new clients and increased business
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills
