As a member of our electronic trading algorithmic development team, you will dive directly into creating innovative solutions that advance our business. You will join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products.  You will work with quants and traders to develop, implement, support and maintain a growing trading system and its strategies.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Develop and support our data collection framework and app on AWS
• Develop and support our post trade analyse programs on AWS
• Design and develop trading strategies in close collaboration with traders
• Enhance existing strategies to improve performance
• Develop and maintain automated testing
• Provide second level support to the trading platform
• Good team player and ability to work independently with minimal guidance

The following qualifications are sought for this role:

• 1 year software developing experience in java and/or C++ 
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Machine learning and cloud-based application development experience is a definitive plus
• Experience developing within low latency, real-time systems is a definitive plus
• Experience developing strategies for market-making, systematic trading, or electronic trading an asset
• Bilingualism an asset; (English required, French an asset)
