Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Reporting to the Head of People and Leadership, the role is largely organisational development and partly recruiting.  We are looking for an Advisor or Senior Advisor to fill this role.   

Both strategic and operational, you will design and implement an onboarding programme and approach to recruitment that ensures we source, select and onboard the talent we need.  Whilst doing this you will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding all new EPL staff. 

During the 18 month fixed term you will:

• Develop and implement an onboarding programme that reflects our inclusive culture, engages new people and gets them up to speed as quickly as possible.
• Develop and implement a recruitment approach that ensures effective sourcing strategies are in place, excellent experiences for all those involved and that best practice tools, such as interviewing and referencing, are applied.
• Build our leaders capability to deliver best practice recruitment and onboarding practices. 
• Run our recruitment and onboarding approach at the same time as developing and embedding our new approach. This includes:
  • Recruiting for a range of disciplines including IT, Payroll Advisors, Customer Support Staff and enabling functions.
  • Partnering effectively with our leaders at all levels to ensure attraction, engagement, selection, hiring and onboarding of quality people against their business requirements.
  • Writing engaging job advertisements that tell the story of who we are as an organisation and attracts excellent candidates.
  • Ensuring an exceptional candidate, hiring manager and new hire experience.
