The Opportunity

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for detail oriented and enthusiastic Admissions Officers to join the Monash Residential Services (MRS)  team in our Campus Community Division at our Clayton campus. 

Admissions Officer 1 - Part-time Continuing appointment

Admissions Officer 2 - Full-time fixed-term contract until September 2022 

In this role, you will act as a key liaison point and source of advice in relation to Monash Residential Services admissions issues.

The Responsibilities

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for coordinating all daily operational aspects of student admissions including:

  • Coordinating applications
  • Coordinating allocations and bookings for residency
  • Processing charges for accommodation
  • Managing students accommodation accounts and outstanding debts
  • Analysing data
  • Preparing reports

About you

To be successful in this role:

  • You will have an aptitude for numbers, excellent attention to detail, excellent data entry skills and high level written and verbal communication skills
  • You will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with complex databases and financials
  • You will have experience working in a hospitality environment, university accommodation, or other large multisite accommodation complexes
