ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Private Consulting Suites Administration Officer is responsible for reception support, providing effective and efficient general clerical duties i appointment scheduling, forward all relevant information packs for bookings at Mercy only, 16311 ordering of histories from HIS, stationery ordering and bank balancing.

  • Permanent Part-time role - Position 1 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday weekly hours 
  • Position 2 â€“ week 1 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday & week 2 Wednesday, Thursday -hours as above
  • Job share may be considered;8hr shifts to be discussed between 0800-1800 
  • Position is in the Patient Services Private Consulting Suite on level 6
  • This role is responsible for reception support, providing effective and efficient general clerical duties including responding to telephone calls and  messages and to redirect where appropriate, appointment scheduling, forward  all relevant information packs for bookings at Mercy only, download and scan medical information to HIS (CPF), ordering of histories from HIS, stationery ordering and bank balancing.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Accurate data entry and efficient and effective time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office -intermediate level, and the ability and adapt to other computer systems
  • Able to use initiative and be flexible with a can-do approach

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
