Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

We're on the lookout for an Administration Support to join the People and Culture Administration Team. Working in the engine room of P&C, your core role will be to provide the users of People and Culture functions and staff across the DHB with a high quality, accurate and timely service.

You will be part of a large, cohesive team based at the Tauranga Hospital. This position is well supported, and training will be provided to get you up to speed.  There are multiple, full-time positions available

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Transacting and maintaining employee data and job history within HRIS
  • Processing letters of offer and other relevant employee documents
  • MECA changes relating to salary increments
  • Supporting the wider P&C team with administrative tasks

To thrive in this role, you will be an administration super star, with a real understanding of planning and organising, working to deadlines in a fast past environment.  This is an opportunity to work in a fun, friendly and supportive team - you will also need to the following skills and experience: 

  • Extensive administration experience, preferably within in-house or direct recruitment/HR functions. 
  • Exceptional rapport building and interpersonal skills to manage internal client relationships and expectations
  • Ability to work well across all levels
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in setting your own direction, coupled with excellent decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Desire to learn and display the DHB's values, including acting with integrity and displaying dedication to our colleagues, candidates and communities
