Job Description

An opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the close-knit team at Lourdes Retirement Village, located in Sydney’s North Shore, Killara, on the edge of the Garigal National Park. 

 

About the role:

Working at the forefront of the village based at Reception, you’ll support across a variety of administrative and customer service activity, liaising with a wide mix of audiences including residents, external visitors, and contractors, in this permanent, full time role, based onsite.

 

  • First point of contact for the Village management office, interacting with residents and greeting guests
  • Answering and managing calls, enquiries, and emails
  • Providing a high level of customer care and attention, assisting residents with requests and general enquiries
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the village management team including some invoicing, taking minutes in meetings as required
  • Preparing and distributing the monthly newsletter
  • Liaising and coordinating with onsite Maintenance and external contractors, particularly whilst current building work is underway
  • Supporting with any other adhoc requirements

 

About you:

  • Prior reception experience or experience managing a front desk and phone calls
  • A calm and personable team player who naturally displays excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build strong trusting relationships
  • Friendly disposition and empathy for the elderly
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Approachable and flexible
  • Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritise
  • Sufficient skills in Microsoft suite and knowledge of SAP, though would be an advantage is not essential
