About the role:
Working as a Rehabilitation Consultant, located in Amberley, you will be working with Australian Defence Personnel who experience work incapacity due to suffering injury or trauma. Based in one location and working set hours between 7.30am – 3.30pm, you will collaborate with ADF internal Rehabilitation Case Managers, Doctors, Allied Health professionals and employers to influence and guide your clients to achieve their goals.
In this role, you will:
Complete functional capacity evaluations
Conduct assessments including initial needs, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living
Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans to achieve a recovery at work
Conduct worksite assessments to support short-term and long-term return-to-work goals
Organise rehabilitation activities incl. Pilates, Hydrotherapy, etc.
Review and analyse medical reports – MRIs, X-Rays, etc.
