About the Role
We are looking for Assessors to support the accreditation function involving service and community providers funded by government. Te KÄhui KÄhu is working under a new operating model to ensure our service is high quality, flexible and meets the expectations of the sector.
This role will suit a candidate with experience in accreditation and/or background in community service with a focus on:
• Social work
• Health
• Disability
• Vulnerable youth
• Justice sector
• Culture diversity
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive Te KÄhui KÄhu team, accrediting a wide range of social service providers.
You will be working both independently and collaborating as part of an accreditation team.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will need:
• The ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge or understanding of the accreditation or contract process
• The ability to work independently and as part of a bigger review team
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of appropriate computer software for word processing, spread sheets, databases and office systems
• Vision and instinct, decision-making and big picture thinking
• A good understanding of quality-based assurance processes or the ability to up-skill quickly
• High level of accuracy with attention to detail

About the Team
Te KÄhui KÄhu provides an accreditation service by assessing social service providers contracted by MSD, OT, Corrections, MOJ, HUD and MPP.
We are responsible for the establishment, development and management of relationships with communities and service delivery providers to ensure the delivery of a network of high-quality community based social services that improve the outcomes for communities and families.
Position Description
Salary range: $71,231.00 - $87,060.00
