We are seeking a full time permanent Accounts Advisor to join our high performing Transactional Services team in Hamilton.

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, has a willingness to learn new things and who is prepared to take on extra responsibility to assist the systems change project to increase business process efficiency. Most importantly, you're a team player, have an open, approachable and collaborative communication style.

This is an exciting time to join the team as several significant projects are planned or underway.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, business analyst or similar role.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting.
• Sound business analytical and problem-solving skills that can contribute to the optimisation of accounts payable and receivable business processes.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, along with proven written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional and positive outlook.
• A self-starter, with the ability to use initiative, pre-empt information requests and be approachable with a can-do attitude.
• A commitment to building Māori capability - both personally and within the team.

The Transactional Services function is one of four teams within the Financial Accounting & Control Team, which also includes Financial Accounting, FMIS, and Collections.

Salary range per annum: The appointing salary for this role will be between $48,397 and $63,820 based on skills and experience.
