Position:  Accountant

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 plus superannuation per annum

Location:  Rockdale NSW 2216

Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team located in Rockdale.

Tasks required include:

• Setup company accounting software program to keep good record of business accounts in close collaboration with the director
• Examine the company's operating costs and monitor the company's income and expenditure on a daily basis
• Assist the director in preparing monthly budgets
• Prepare monthly income statement and balance sheet to compare it with budgets to keep good track of business
• Making sure that the accounting information and records are kept correctly and that they comply with the ATO requirements
• Preparing Tax return for the company
• Undertaking monthly audits of the accounts and stock to make
• Ensure that the business is managing its finances properly
• Keep good record of employee payments and comply with ATO Obligations
• Creating quarterly financial report to present to the director and Shareholder
• Analysing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue and advise to directors accordingly to increase profitability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Business Administration
• Maters of Professional Accounting would also be highly regarded
• At least 3 years experience as an Accountant.
