Responsibilities:
Develop an account and contact plan strategy to grow the accounts within your territory.
Proactively build customer stakeholder mapping and strong relationships across business and technical decision makers.
Drive revenue growth through engaging in proactive conversations with new customers to land the value of Slack.
Identify opportunities to grow the business with existing customers by initiating conversations, leveraging usage patterns, providing demos or quotes and collaborating with internal teams to improve the value and impact for our customers.
Effectively turn prospects and qualified leads into opportunities by qualifying opportunities
Implement strategies to accelerate the closing of deals (mapping timeline, customer engagement, buy-in and de-risking) to drive predictable deal closure.
Drive predictable forecast and pipeline management.
Be the Slack sales leader and advocate for your customers
Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
Requirements:
18 months + of technology-related sales and account management experience
Strong track record of prospecting, new account development, territory building and quota performance
Ability to value sell to senior executives as a trusted advisor with a consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions that solve their problems
Experience in building strong customer relationships with business and technical key decision makers
Excellent communicator, organizer, presenter and great verbal communication skills
Outstanding operational excellence, e.g. forecasting, building healthy pipeline,, opportunity management and virtual team orchestration
Strong negotiation skills, financial acumen and driving deals to closure.
Proven track record of outstanding performance and achieving goals 
Success-driven, works well in a diverse team and enjoy a dynamic and changing environment 
Problem solver and ability to work in fast-changing environment and manage ambiguity  
Strong time management skills - able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment 
Passion for cloud technologies and changing the world 
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
