About the role:

We're looking for a full-time Academic Staff Member to join our Financial Services team on a 12 month fixed term agreement to facilitate learning on the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services programmes. All these courses are delivered online. This role reports to a Programme Delivery Manager. 

Ideally, you have worked in the financial services industry and have completed the National/New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services or equivalent. Along with this if you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:

• Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility to work with a wide range of people in a collegial, constructive manner
• High level of judgement, flexibility, self-motivation and responsiveness.

About you:

You will have a passion for impacting the lives of everyday people and seeing them achieve their educational goals and dreams. You will also constantly be striving to be the best you can be, just as our students do and you pride yourself on the quality of your work.

You will have;

• A National Certificate in Financial Services (or equivalent)
• Recent Financial Services Industry experience in investments, general insurance, health insurance or residential property lending areas.  
• Education or teaching experience is desirable
