The CAP 1 Support Manager assists salaried managers with leading the daily backroom operations, distributing and coordinating backroom activities related to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the salesfloor, responding to problems and inquiries, and teaching and training associates. This will be accomplished by assisting in the backroom and on the salesfloor as required and maintaining backroom conditions all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as a lead in the store to strategically plan and execute backroom activities based on workload and operational functions.
1. Monitoring the overall flow of the backroom to identify process and execution breakdowns and address accordingly.
2. Ensuring Receiving Area is set and prepared for daily deliveries.
3. Ensuring cold chain is maintained for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking.
4. Ensuring all cases are binned and all skids are stable and all picks are completed daily.
5. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
6. Support task teams on execution as required.
7. Providing training, coaching and offering feedback to associates.
8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
